“Build relationships and love what you do, everything will flourish on its own.”

Fonderr is a multi-talented creative who has called Atlanta home for the last 15 years. He gives us some insight on his passions and how he manages to navigate multiple crafts seamlessly:

CF — What’s up Fonder, just wanted to start off by thanking you for your time and chopping it up with us! How has life been for you lately?

Fonderr — Life has been a blessing for me every day I’m alive. Good or bad just being able to have the opportunity to experience life is always a privilege. To learn, to lose, to love, to let go, to accept, to endure, to feel, to express, and evolve is beautiful.

CF — Glad to hear life is treating you well, that’s a great mindset to have! Could you let us know more about what mediums you specialize in?

Fonderr — I’m a Renaissance man!  My skill set bounces between mediums of photography, modeling, DJing, and creative writing!

CF — Got you! It’s amazing you get to express yourself in so many ways, how do you manage to balance your time and stay motivated to wear so many hats?

Fonderr — My motivation comes from my will power and passion for what I love. It is challenging to put energy forward every medium, but I make an effort to put in an efficient enough time for everything.

CF — Well since you’re passionate in a lot of different areas, I have to ask who are some of your biggest inspirations creatively?

Fonderr — I draw inspiration for various ppl mostly music and film. Frank Ocean, Kaytranada, Kanye, Drake, Jcole, mac miller, kid cudi , tame impala etc . The list goes on. With film I admire the visionary aspect of everything. I love Jordan Peele, Michael Bay, Ryan Coogler, and Quentin Tarantino. The list goes on with that. I love animation as well Pixar movies have always since adolescence have been a power shift toward my way of living and thinking not just creatively but in everyday life.

Anime as well! Shows such as MHA, demon slayer, Hunter X Hunter, and Naruto have given me strong morals, compassion, and unwavering faith to believe in myself no matter the obstacles in front of me.  Backpedaling back to film production I love all of A24 movies and shows. The way that they detail their shots and depict art in cinema is so captivating that you can see multiple mediums of art in their projects

CF — With that amount of inspo, I can see how you’re able to stay creative! Since this is the ATL edition, how long have you been in the city and how has being here affected you?

Fonderr — I’ve been in the city for about 15 years and being able to be a part of different social groups of art mediums whether it’s fashion, photography, film, or music has broaden my perspective drastically overtime

CF — Got you! What would you say have been your biggest obstacles when it comes to carving out your own lane and finding your way here?

Fonderr — I wouldn’t say there has been any obstacles for me because I knew going into anything I do everything takes time. I’ve you put in the work and dedicate yourself to the craft.  Build relationships and love what you do, everything will flourish on its own. It’s pretty simple. Being yourself is important as well while not chasing the outcome but enjoying the journey

CF — That is very true and sound advice for upcoming creatives as well! We thank you for your time and sharing your perspective. How can we show our support and is there anything we should be on the lookout for?

Fonderr — Showing love in any way that feels natural for you is all I ask! More love, more life, and more of me expressing myself freely
